My Project

I recently attended a professional development that was dedicated to putting more movement into learning. Students these days need more movement in the classroom than most people realize. Adding balancing and movement products (balance boards, wobble boards, balance discs) into my lessons will allow me to include action and movement with a skill we are currently working on. This will help get my students to become more engaged in what we are learning. The combination of movement and skills will help students become more coordinated and focused on working to become stronger and more engaged. During my professional development, I was able to see students engaged and focused on progressing in skills they needed to strengthen. I want to include this in my classroom to be able to increase the success of all my students. I want them to see and feel confidence in themselves. The same confidence and success I see in them already.
