Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

If you happen to take one step into a kindergarten classroom, you will see a LOT of materials, school supplies, and manipulatives all over the classroom. The book bins and storage boxes will help keep all of these materials tidy and organized for quick and easy access.

An organized classroom is a calm and happy classroom.

This has been my motto since I have been teaching kindergarten. When our things are color coded and organized, the students are easily able to find what they need. All materials at a table are organized by color for the students so that they are able to easily tell where something belongs. Students are able to independently help keep our classroom space tidy and organized. When the students are able to do this, they show a sense of pride in their space and classroom.
