My Project

Having 3D printers and the needed filament would be an amazing addition to my classroom. It would allow my fifth grade students to take the 3d designed models they create in Tinker CAD and render them as real life final products.

The goal for this project is to allow students to have the full design experience.

From design sketch, to 3d Model, and finally prototype, the students should feel as though they have, like real engineers, created something they can take home to show their family and be proud of.

These students are some of the brightest and most creative students I know. They want to learn and have a love of the educational process. They are all funny, and kind kids who want to succeed. It is hard for me to brag about these kids without writing a small book as they have all changed my life in such positive ways I cannot even explain. Suffice to say that your support would mean all the world to these students.
