Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are nothing short of amazing, and they demonstrate this in everything they do! They are hardworking and kind, and they genuinely care about their success in school and in life. To be their teacher this year is truly an honor, and their success both inside and outside of the classroom matters to me tremendously!

As the year progresses and students' needs are expected to continue, I ask that you please support our young ladies so that they may properly take care of their bodies discreetly and without the feeling of embarrassment with regards to their natural occurrences throughout the school day.

All students should have the ability to learn carefree from any outside factor that may prohibit them from learning in the classroom, and this matter is no different. Each female student within my classes will be offered a bag which will have a full pack of pads, deodorant, and individually wrapped feminine wipes. The items listed will not only take care of students' needs during the regular school week but are definitely intended to help take care of them while they are at home as well.
