My Project

Beyond being a safe person for students to come to when they need to talk, I want to also give them a cozy space to hang out and talk in. Being a first-year school social worker I have not yet gained too much to decorate my office and I would love to add more to my space!

I love being a person that students actually request to see when they are in need of talking or finding a space to calm down, but I would also love to provide visuals and tools to get them into the correct head space.

This project does not only include decor to help provide a more comfortable space for my little friends, but also guidance on how social/emotional prompts. It includes signs on mood meters, in control/not in control, as well as a few calming toys/fidgets for them to utilize.
