My Project

We are a small K-8 rural school with such bright students! Our kiddos work so hard to earn classroom money and want to spend it on items they desire. In my classroom I use classroom money as a positive behavior tool. If students are engaging in positive relationships, finishing work, and showing responsibility they earn classroom money.

Once a month we have a classroom store where students get to use their class money to shop to for items they truly want!

This allows students to practice real-world skills in a guided environment. Students are able to budget, save money, and work towards something they have chosen. Our kiddos really wanted survival items and love horses! These items will be put to great use.

Ms. Watkins will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by June 27.
