Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are requesting black out curtains for our classroom. We live in the mid west and we are baking from the sunlight hitting our windows. We are a self contained early childhood special education classroom and we need a way to stay cool and cut the glares off the smart broad screen.

Our goal is to cut down the heat and refection of the sun, even in the winter.

Its hard to see our iPad and projector with the amount of sun that comes in our windows.

I want to make it a comfortable learning environment. The students have a hard time seeing their screens. We are using dry erase bords on wheels to help block the sun in a small area now but need better coverage for the whole classroom.
