Help me give my students makerspace supplies for my STEM classroom . The scissor rack and scissors would be so helpful, because now I only have old hand-me-downs that always break. We ALWAYS run out of glue!

My Project

I teach Pre-K through fifth grade STEM. One thing my students of all grades love is creating masterpieces in the makerspace. I love allowing them to take their creations with them at the end of a project, but it means we go through a lot of materials. Some of the favorite creations are boba tea with pom pom boba or takeout boxes with straws for chopsticks!

The joy on their faces when students create is so satisfying to watch.

The student that might struggle with focus during a traditional lesson can work on a makerspace problem with no interruption. The opportunity to imagine and then model is one that isn't always available to kids. Mandatory testing takes so much time, they need a chance to think in different independent ways.

The materials I have requested are generally the most popular! The paint jars will be great for individual liquid glues. Our scissors are always breaking because they are hand-me-downs! Thanks so much for your generosity in getting these materials for my students.
