My Project

My classroom is a self-contained classroom with students who are not neurotypical for their age. Introducing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) toys to my preschool class can have numerous benefits for my students. These toys are designed to promote learning in specific areas while also fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaboration. Here are some reasons why helping me purchase STEM toys for my preschool class will greatly benefit my students. By providing STEM toys at an early age, I will be able to introduce my students to fundamental concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This exposure can help spark an interest in these subjects from a young age and lay a strong foundation for future learning. STEM toys often require children to think critically and solve problems through hands-on experimentation and exploration. These activities help develop important cognitive skills that are essential for academic success later in life. This is so important for my students. My classroom is self-contained. My students will greatly benefit from your generosity. While my students are not neurotypical they do deserve to have all the same opportunities that neurotypical children have.
