My Project

Every year about 7000 city students visit our program to experience a healthy local habitat. Many have no idea about what plants and animals are here and how they survive. We always find signs of the local animals, but rarely get to see them. A trail camera gives us the opportunity to capture some of the animals images as they move through the property. These pictures can then be used to show the students what the animals actually look like and study some of their behaviors as well. Photos from the camera can really excite the students and get them wondering about all of the things that are happening around them that they don't always witness.
