This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help my second graders with some sensory weighted blankets, to improve overall regulation throughout the academic school day. I have a few studnets that cannot stay focused during lessons and haing the extra help of a weighted blanket would be amazong! My students require various strategies, learning methods, and learning options to meet each of their needs throughout the school day within the classroom. At the asme time our class needs a the wireless walkie adapter to help us when making calls and monitor where students are.

The weighted blankets will assist in helping the student remain calm and secure, and increase their focus.

The blankets can be used while seated to feel calm and secure as they transition between classes as well as activities.
