My Project

If students are not in school, they miss so much. They miss critical learning, social opportunities, free meals, art, music, physical activity and so much more.

At our school, we meet weekly to track student attendance and devise plans to get students to school as much as possible.

For students who have chronic absenteeism, we need specialized and individualized plans.

I work with students on attendance goals and when they are met, students receive a reinforcer. Some want lunch with friends in the library and others want a small toy or trinket that symbolized their success. Please help me boost my prize box choices so students will remain motivated to show up for school every day.
