My Project

There are over 100 Spanish-speaking students at my school, with widely varying school experiences and dramatically different immigration experiences.

While the total enrollment of multilingual learners continues to increase, so too changes the demographics of students represented.

This collection of texts are representative of the influx of Central American students we are welcoming into our English Language Development Program. I would love to incorporate these into my classroom library both to increase representation of the students that fit this demographic, and to utilize as tools for educating students from different cultures within our community.
