My Project

Please help me bring my students on literary adventures through diverse books. This project includes books about people that overcame great odds, books about mindfulness and kindness, books that reflect different cultures, and funny books about creative characters.

Through books, students can make connections to their lives and realize they can achieve great things.

Picture books are great ways to build relationships with students and are used as starting points for meaningful discussions and spark ideas for creating and learning in the classroom. Through books, we can go to faraway lands and ask and answer questions about the world around us.
