My Project

Being in a rural school, teachers and students do not have all the funding needs that cover the entire year. I am a veteran teacher that left all my old materials in my former classroom so the current students could not be without. I left to be closer to my family in Iowa.

Now at a new school, in my new room, I am needing furniture, classroom materials, and decorations to make it a new home for myself and my new students I will have next year!

If I can get most of these items funded through Donor's Choose, I can save my students and families on school supplies as well. There is also a novel in this request that is a must read for middle school students that is from the perspective of Melba Patillo Beals, one of the Little Rock Nine, who integrated into the first all-white school.
