Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This school year has had its challenges but it has been a year of huge growth emotionally, socially, and academically. Our third graders enjoy school and have worked very hard this year to meet grade level benchmarks.

The Third Grade Team at our school would like to celebrate our students' efforts and provide them with motivational kits to use during State Testing Week.

As their teachers and supporters, we want our students to do their best. We also want them to relax, think positively, and to finish the school year strong.

We believe these tools will encourage our students to continue excelling and to try hard things. Presenting students with a testing survival kit will surely provide students with much-needed energy to rock the test.

Each testing kit will include the following items and messages printed on color copy paper:

- Ring Pops- Take your time. The answers will "pop" in your head.

- Fruit Snacks- We know you will do your "berry" best!

- Air Heads - You're "headed" to the finish line. Finish Strong!

- Oreo/Chip Ahoy/Nutter Butters Cookies - You're one smart "cookie"

- Bubble Gum - We know you will "blow" the FAST test away!

Providing each student with a survival kit will not only boost their confidence on test day but the kits will also put a smile on their face. Thank you in advance for supporting the education of our third graders!
