My Project

Sphero Minis will allow my students to develop their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills while teaching them to code. My students have participated in unplugged coding on paper and hour of code activities on Code.org. Spheros will help take our coding to the next level.

Sphero Minis will be a great hands-on learning experience for my students to analyze problems and navigate challenges.

This project will align with our PYP learner profile attributes of being an inquirer, communicators, thinkers, and reflectors as students work together to design and program the Sphero Mini to accomplish various tasks. I've looked through the Sphero Coding lessons and will use the Spheros to work with 3rd grade on their Forces and Motion unit.

I recently received some Sphero Minis, but would love 12 more so that each student has the opportunity to individually code on their own during our class time. I have a classroom set of iPad, so I would love to have a classroom set of Sphero Minis!
