My Project

The school's Arts Council has invited the students to participate in the yearly steam roller printing event. Members of the Arts Council have come in to class to demonstrate how the wood carvings are made, and the students are very excited to create their own woodblocks for printing. The carving tools we have in class are meant for linoleum cutting, and are all dull. The tools I am requesting in this project would allow the students to create a wood carving with as much detail as they want. Proper tools are also essential for safety.

This is an opportunity for the students to participate in a community event, and to be inspired by local artists.
