This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am fortunate enough to teach scholars who are always on the edge of their seats, eager to learn something new! These students possess a sense of family and classroom community with an infectious warmth that is conducive to learning.

With this project, students will be able to receive Kleenex tissue, culturally responsive books, as well as much needed pencils.

This is great so that children can keep reading material that is reflective of some cultural groups in our community, thus affirming many students, while teaching others.

To be able to provide children with the basic necessities, like pencils and books would be more than awesome!
