Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books would be the perfect addition to our growing classroom library. I often struggle to find high-interest books that are at my students' developmental reading level. This wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books will capture their interest, while still being within their reading range. Every book that is added to my classroom is done so with the end goal of targeting my students' reading levels and helping them improve as readers. My students will have more books to choose from, which will help them continue to enjoy reading while also helping them develop reading stamina and fluency.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their level.

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
