Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a fun variety of LEGO sets for our after school LEGO club beginning in the winter.

LEGO club is a club designed to foster positive social relationships with peers and to promote a welcoming community for our Newcomers.

Social language, cooperative building, game playing and making friends will be promoted in this club. My students are very excited about this opportunity to interact with their peers in a fun way. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for my English Learners and Newcomers to develop their oral language skills. Unfortunately, a lot of the fun stuff is taken out of the school day and this is how we can add it back. Thank you for supporting our LEGO after school Club! We are so exited to offer this club to our new students!
