My Project

The Service High Esports team has been gifted a PC to create videos for our Super Smash Bros/Rocket League teams. Multiple team members explicitly stated they want to learn video editing. Not only do they want to post their games, several are already taking coding classes within our school or have signed up for video production.

To bring the machine up to video editing capabilities (already has a i7-9700 and a RTX-2070), the team needs RAM, a monitor, a keyboard and a mouse.

Once filled, several adults have already stated they would volunteer their time to assist in creating content.

The members have two large goals once this order is filled. First, they want to narrate their games and post them for the opportunity to be scouted. There are many scholarship opportunities for Esports players, but my players have no way of creating that content. Once created, they can seek out colleges to watch they games. There second goal is focused on family. We cannot broadcast games due to the school districts internet filters. By creating these videos, the players can load them and share them with family members all over the country.
