This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Learning how to read and write sight words are very important skills that my students need to learn in order to succeed in reading. Learning to read can be difficult at first but at the end can be a rewarding experience for young students. Learning basic sight words are very important for young readers to learn because these sight words are found in any reading book.
Learning how to read and write basic sight words needs to be a fun, engaging, and hands-on experience.
These sight word games and activities will help give my students the opportunity to read and write sight words during small group instruction and independently. By having these sight word games and activities in our classroom, my students will be able to master learning their sight words and becoming remarkable readers a lot easier.
