Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Your donation would fund amazing new building blocks for the students at my school. I am an art teacher for an elementary school; I have over 600 students come to me a week to learn and live in art. We love to create new items every week. Having the new supplies would help open this world up for the students. These new building blocks will help incorporate architecture, creativity and STEM in the classroom. These blocks will allow ease of use for my older students and younger ones.

The books will be my opening activity for the students.

This will allow them to have a refresher of why we are stepping into the world of art before creating. Your donation would allow students of all ages to make mistakes, feel comfortable creating, and explore their own minds in a beautiful way.
