My Project

Research has proven students are more willing to explore ideas and attempt solving problems when they are writing on a vertical, non-permanent surface. As students drive their learning, the whiteboard stations around my room will provide my students vertical, non-permanent surfaces to promote high quality collaboration as they work within their groups developing deeper understanding of mathematical ideas. Increasing the number of these surfaces in my classroom will allow my students the opportunity to think on their feet while allowing me the opportunity to provide my students real-time feedback maximizing the time for learning in my classroom.
