My Project

These boards will be such a “treasure” to my 1st Graders. They will be able to practice new words they learn each week in reading, practice spelling, writing math problems , and can also use these boards in small group with their teacher. This will also help my students to become fluent readers. With the new Alabama Literacy Act, all students must be proficient in Reading and Math by 3rd Grade. When teachers can find motivating tools to help with this, it certainly increases our chances of success by all learners.

I have also asked for permanent marker sets.

Students will be able to use these for our upcoming Art Night in April to help with their art projects as well as many other individual/ group projects that we complete throughout the year. Thank you so much for your consideration.
