This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My kindergarten students have a long day with all their breaks in the morning. That means that by noon, everyone is getting hungry! Students cannot focus with a rumbling stomach.

It’s amazing to be able to offer my little ones a snack to eat so they can feel nourished and get back to their studies!

Our snack reserves desperately need a refill.

My students are very motivated by food and snack time is one of their favorite parts of the day. Everyone is allowed to choose what they want. They can chat with their classmates while eating, so it also promotes socialization. Full tummies equals happy kids who want to learn!
