Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a school where many students cannot afford to bring their own snacks to school, so I created this project to help give them extra snacks throughout the day.

Many students ask me for snacks throughout the day or if I have anything that they can bring home for the weekend, and this would project would help me to supply food to those children.

We have MCAS testing coming up and snacks are always a great incentive to help children work. I have snacks and treats that I will give to students as they test and that they can bring home after school if need be.

Testing is draining and hard work for the students and I know that snacks and drinks can help to motivate the students.

Ms. Grasso will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 3.
