This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our library lunch club has become more popular than ever! Many of our students want to bring healthy lunches from home, but we don't have a microwave to heat them up or a fridge to store them in. We would also like to properly store healthy snacks for some of our students.

Our school is located in a food desert and we want to support our students in their efforts to eat healthily.

The addition of these items to our library would help to build our library program to provide a positive space for students to come for lunch club.
