Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year in the Spring, students need to take the state exams for reading and math. These tests are long and are spread out over two weeks. During these days, the students are stressed and overwhelmed. The days are long and take a lot of energy out of a student. I remind my students to have a good breakfast, get enough sleep, and pack a snack during those days. However, packing a snack is not possible for many of my low-income kids.

I want to provide my students with a snack and some motivational tools to help ease some of their worries during testing and to help them concentrate better.

This project will allow me to provide enough snacks and stress balls for all my students during state testing which will help them concentrate and be more successful. Also, the legos are such a great tool to provide brain breaks when we just can’t think any longer!
