My Project

My students range in ages from 9th to 12, and although our high school offers many opportunities, one such opportunity that my students do not get is to learn any sort of cooking and/or baking skills. Many students have voiced their concern for the lack of courses in this area, and have also mentioned a high interest/need for it. I am trying to build an enrichment program through teacher volunteers to bring the opportunity to students.

Currently, we have no equipment, so we are in need of hand mixers, bowls, spatulas, food, processors, and hot plates all to make this a viable program.

The ability to be able to get this equipment, and also items such as flour, sugar, baking soda will greatly help in the development and creation of this enrichment class which will benefit the entire school and community.
