My Project

Our playground has a small climbing area and then a large blacktop space. On a typical day, two classes are in the playground area at the same time. That's 50 kids! We are in desperate need of some playground toys we can use on the blacktop area.

My class loves to play soccer!

Right now we try to draw goals with chalk but I know they would love some nets to kick at and score some serious goals and feel like real soccer players.

We also have a few basketball hoop areas but only one basketball to use, the kids are great turn-takers but would love to get some more practice shots in.

Finally, chalk and stepping stones are always great fun and can be made into so many games.

With Spring approaching I'd love to give all of our second graders a great playground experience.
