Help me give my students a memorable end-of-year Fun Day with new activities such as the splash dunk tower, the jumbo Connect 4, and the giant parachute!
Help me give my students a great end-of-year Fun Day! At MES we have an annual "field day" but not in the traditional sense. This is a fun day for all students where everyone will be having fun, success, and many laughs!
I am looking for new activities for our Fun Day that will increase excitement and engagement.
The splash dunk tank will have the kids rolling with laughter when their teachers are the ones soaking wet under the bucket. The giant Connect 4 will be a race, but in a fun and strategic way versus a super competitive race. We do have a smaller parachute that provides much enjoyment, but the larger parachute would allow for more participation at a time. I am planning on having a bag race, long jump ropes, and Cornhole for students to participate in. A game using the water shooters as well as the tarp teambuilding game will add more excitement. The slime will be used as a positive behavior support reward for students making good choices throughout the last month or so of school. For every ticket they receive, they have a chance to slime their teacher!
Please consider supporting our Fun Day that will benefit every elementary student, from Young 5's through 5th grade. All students deserve to create great memories with their peers. Field day shouldn't only be for the fastest kids, it should be a Fun Day for everyone!
