My Project

My students are superstars; they are learning in English and Spanish. I split the day teaching 2nd and 3rd graders in English and they spend the other half of their day receiving instruction in Spanish. Since January 1st, I have received 7 new students who are new to the country and do not speak any English. Many of my students are still learning English.

Everyday they are excited for recess but are getting bored with the playscape.

They need balls and equipment to play and build teamworking skills.

They love reading but need more books on the lower levels are they are learning to read in English. We have created a family by sharing the classroom and materials with two classes. They love adding decorations and lights to the room to make it more cozy and inviting which helps with their social and emotional learning.
