This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello!

The items listed in this Donors Choose project will be used between three different center classrooms who serve students with a variety of needs.

Within our lists of supplies, we have items to accommodate for our students' learning and sensory needs. With use of the soft lights, bean bag, and rocking chair, it will give our students the ability to address their sensory needs in the classroom.

The streamers and boom sticks would be a great resource for the center students to play with while in gym class. Often, they are seeking visual and auditory stimulation while playing in gym; and we have not had the materials to meet those needs.

We hope that with the posters, we can create a space that encourages creativity and inclusion. The markers, streamers, and boom sticks will also allow our students to explore their creative curiosities.
