This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Using PVC, I will be able to build specialized equipment for my students with disabilities to use during Adapted Physical Education class. Building equipment allows me to utilize the movements that my students are able to perform, such as grasping, pushing, pulling, etc.

This equipment would allow my students to have the opportunity to participate in activities they typically may not have had the chance to experience.

Ideas on what I would like to try build include a bow and stand for archery, a modified ramp for bocce/bowling, or a catapult for throwing.
