This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Stock the shelves with personal care products! Our school has many students who do not have access to some life essentials like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, and other hygiene products. These essentials are often out of financial reach for many of our families.

Many of our families rely on support to ensure basic needs are met, and this does not include personal care items.

Without access to such essentials, some students’ health and confidence have suffered. When a student’s confidence suffers, their behavior often times suffers as well.
