My Project

Many of my children have limited exposure to anything outside of their neighborhoods. However, they are sponges just wanting to have the opportunity to soak up everything available on them. They are very inquisitive about the world and how things work. That is why we need to provide them with every opportunity available to help them learn about the world they live in, not just their neighborhoods. Every year the need to let children take responsibility for their own learning and to work cooperatively becomes more evident. I know you may think this is impossible for such young children. However, I can assure you that given the opportunity all children will be successful.

That is why I am asking for supplies to keeps us clean, cool, and ready to learn.

We need a vacuum cleaner to keep our room clean.

In Kindergarten we sit on rugs as well as the floor and cleanliness is a necessity. Our custodial staff is amazing but they are only human and could use a little extra help. We need a portable AC unit because our room reaches 85 degrees by the afternoon. We received new windows last year but they took our blinds away and the window do not open. Needless to say it gets hot and is hard to learn. My students are amazing and love to learn and work cooperatively. I would also like reward my students for their hard work with treats. These resources will help my students be able to thrive and grow. Thank you for helping us to finish out the year in a clean, cool and comfortable environment.
