This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Please help my students create a community garden at our Middle/High School. The items requested will be used in our Special Education life skills class to learn how to grow fruits and vegetables from seeds.

Our mission is to create a garden where everyone in the community can come together for a common goal, sustainability.

With the rising cost of groceries, students will not only learn to grow fruits and vegetables but will also learn to cook healthy meals for their families.

Many of my students have suffered from the Flint water crisis and COVID-19, and now we are trying to put the pieces back together to create better learning opportunities. My students will use these project donations as a better way to learn.
