My Project

Our Esports program has been nothing but great for our kids since we started 3 years ago, but not only do these Esports competitors benefit from Esports, our Gifted and Talented club along with other kids get the enjoyment of this program! This is a fast-paced world and it is always growing and changing but our kids do great with figuring out how to "Roll With The Punches" so to speak. Our program is continuing to grow, so that means we have to expand what we have.

Our biggest challenge is controllers and seating.

The 2 sets of Joy-Cons for the Switch and the wired controller will let all the kids play at one time. The bean bag couch will replace 2 of our current bean bag chairs that are pretty much flat on the floor and are not comfortable for the kids to sit in. The Joy-Cons have to be charged to be used, so the charging station is a must for them. Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros have ended up being 2 of our biggest games " Both of them are on Switch" so it's hard to manage when it comes to rotating out Joy-Cons for all the students, especially when you have big classes. The clock has been requested by the students since we do not allow phones in practice/class.
