Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade class is seeking funding to aid our local dog rescue organization, A Home 4 Ever Dog Rescue, in their mission to rescue and care for dogs in need. We plan to actively support this cause by donating essential supplies for the well-being of rescue dogs. These supplies include water bowls, toys, cleaning products, grooming products, dog crate beds, and dog leads. Not only will my students gain satisfaction by helping these precious animals, I believe this will also provide them with insights into the challenges faced by rescue groups and emphasize the importance of community support in helping dogs find loving homes.

The primary goal of this project is to teach my students about empathy, responsibility, and kindness towards animals, while also teaching them the value of community service.

By supporting A Home 4 Ever Rescue with essential supplies, my students will not only make a tangible difference in the lives of rescue dogs, but also develop a lifelong commitment to helping animals in need. We are grateful for any support towards making this project a success.
