My Project

Many special needs students benefit from structure, clear organization, and a sense of ownership over their surroundings.

This project is designed for a special needs classroom where students thrive on hands-on activities, visual aids, and a personalized learning environment and to celebrate those unique qualities and provide them with the tools they need to shine.

The Binding Machine will allow us to create customized learning materials, manipulative, and picture schedules that cater to individual student needs and learning styles. Laminating will ensure these materials are durable and long-lasting. We will use these to create visual supports and positive affirmations around the classroom. The planner will help me stay organized and ensure a consistent routine for the students. Magnetic dots will allow me to create an interactive schedule on the whiteboard or wall, which can help students understand the flow of of the day. Curtain can be used to create a more calming and focused environment by controlling light levels or providing visual privacy when needed.

Our classroom goal is to Increase student engagement and motivation by creating a visually stimulating and personalized classroom environment, we can make learning more engaging and motivating for our students. The teacher planner will help me develop a sense of time management and routine. The Special Education shirts will show pride of being a sped teacher and for our paraprofessional to build a sense of community among staffs in our school.

Every student is unique, but special needs students may have exceptional creativity, a zest for learning in their own way, or a particular strength in a specific area. By incorporating their interests and ideas into the classroom decorations and materials, we can create a space where they feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
