This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a kindergarten teacher at a Title I school working on creating a collection of learning games, puzzles, and building blocks for my students. I hope with these learning games and puzzles, my students can learn to work together while having fun.

As a kindergarten teacher, I noticed that most spend too much time alone glued to an electronic device, therefore lacking social and fine motor skills.

Many of them do not have board games, building blocks or puzzles at home to play with.

My goal is to give students ample opportunities to interact with each other while playing games and engaging in imaginative play, ultimately, teaching them team building and social skills.
