My Project

First grade students often have a difficult time sitting in traditional chairs all day. Comfortable flexible seating will help them to focus on the learning. Young children have an easier time paying attention when they are allowed some freedom to move about and sit in a manner that is comfortable to them. Having a variety of seating options available to my children will allows us to pay more attention to intentional learning in the classroom, rather than the distractions of wiggly children trying to find a comfortable position in an uncomfortable chair.
