Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help our school stock our tiger buck store. Our tiger buck store is an in-school store for students who can exchange tiger bucks for prizes.
Tiger bucks are earned by upholding our school's ROAR values of; Responsibility, organization, achievement and respect.
Students can save their tiger bucks and use them to buy prizes from our tiger buck store. This teaches our students about the value of good citizenship, and it teaches them fiscal responsibility. Students can look forward to collecting as many items as they can from our store. When they buy something from the tiger buck store, they can feel proud knowing that they earned that item through doing what is right.
Our tiger buck store also promotes Social emotional learning skills. Students can earn prizes like notebooks with positive writing prompts, fidget toys to use when they feel overwhelmed or balls and jump ropes to release their energy productively outdoors.
