My Project

This rug would create a learning environment that feels welcoming and warm. We do all of our lessons starting on the carpet and then break off into groups.

We currently do not have a rug, as my classroom was newly opened just a few weeks ago to create smaller classes amongst a large 5th grade group.

This rug would foster a sense of home for my students and my goal is to create a safe space that feels like their home. My students have had a huge transition mid-year switching into my newly formed classroom so giving them a feeling of comfort is huge focus for me.
