Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help me provide the students with the supplies to get them through the remainder of the school year. The seat covers will be a great addition to keep them organized and prepared as they will transition into first grade. The seat storage will also allow the students more responsibility of caring for their materials and save the time of having to pass out their materials. Saving time passing materials will minimize students wait time so we can move more briskly with transition.

The punch cards will be a great incentive for the students to earn rewards for their focus for the remainder of the school year.

This time of the year can be a little challenging as the weather becomes nicer. The students will be able to earn extra recess as well as trinkets on those nice days providing they earned it on their punch card. The play dough will be a great addition to indoor recess as the rainy season is approaching as well at strengthen their fine motor skills.

The students are taking responsibility of their writing and wanting to correct their mistakes and the erasers will help them with that. The dry erase markers will allow the students more practice with their writing skills without using up paper unnecessarily.
